my os’es(operating systems), thoughs on them, such

my primary OS is widows xp pro a 120 day “demo” copy, yeah i reinstall windows every 120 days. well sort of i have a back up copy that i move to my main hard drive when the demo expires i figure it keeps my computer close to new. my second Os is ubuntu 9.10 it’s 1 of my favorites, it’s free and comes from http://www.ubuntu.com/, installing is easy with basically a wizard to guide you through it and also comes with a lot of extra installable software for just about anything granted i still haven’t gotten my cam to work with it but that’s ok.
my thoughts on computers both apple and ibm pcs, well personally i think the lines are being blured between the big “boys” macs and pcs with macs using intel based processors and and some folks working installing a mac os x on some intel pcs. it’s called “hackingtosh” (http://www.osx86project.org/). i see a day when there wont be any lines between the 2 or 3 major players in the computer industry just 1 player, maybe an amalgam of all 3 into 1 taking the best of all and combining them into 1 os that may run peoples houses, cars, entertainment setups, and all. a blending of the computer into the background of our world rather then it being right in our faces, voice commanding our houses to do things like open doors, turn up or down the temperatures, send messages, video call our friends and invite them to a party where drinks are made and served by a “machine”.

i allmost forgot…..

ya know i almost forgot about this blog thing i have well a few updates for those who follow this thing.
1: after 5 years of being together me and my ex-wife came to the realization that we weren’t really meant for each other so before it came to lobbing ashtrays and lobsters we decided to call it quits.
2: i’ve updated my hard computer hardware with a brand new fx8400gs video card and a 2.6 ghz cpu
3: i’m still studying for my comptia a+, my network+ and my mcp certifications
4 i’m working on some more of my songs using acid pro, bb flashback 2 and winamp 2.95
also been cleaning this blog up a bit and being a moderator over at maddsmokers(link in friends site list). started listening too a young man from Queensland Australia by the name of Jordon Jensen(like in friends site list) and see video below

these videos will up-loaded in the highest quality i can get (&fmt=18 and &fmt=35) i’m not sure what the difference is fmt=35 seems more high definition and watch in full screen for the effect
